But Thief: Deadly Shadows references aside, are there any “useful” books in this library? Theoretically there *should* be. This library holds infinitely many possibilities for books. What I want to know is if there’s a mathematical approach to finding a worthwhile book.

And yes, there are many – infinitely many, in fact – arguments for the usefulness of the books available through philosophical debate. I however mean “useful” in terms of it being deemed practical for what the general populous agrees on as “useful,” or “worthwhile.” Something like a cure for a seriously debilitating disease or affliction, a way to bypass language altogether and understand everyone no matter what, or perhaps cold fusion.

Forgive me if this is already addressed elsewhere, my mind is somewhat fried as of making this. I merely wished to have an answer to my questions, however disheartening or encouraging the answer may be.
    Thank you for your time.

You could find a page like that BUT your just as likely to find a horrible lie. that said, the chances of finding either is astronomically low.

just try writing something practical yourself, your mind is an unlimited archive of stuff that will never be spoken or done and the only way to find any of it is to look for it
