    … if you took a bunch of these photos and lined turned them all into frames you could create a universe-lifetime-long video documenting literally any location/angle in the entire universe, including a ‘directors cut’ of your whole life through your eyes…

    And yet considering there’s a frame for every single event/non-event in/not-in of the universe on any scale, at any time: its mental to think with all of that the chances of finding any one of those frames are STILL next to zero.

    But then again, maybe like the text in the Library of Babel meant different things anyway to those who speak different languages, maybe the seemingly random kaleidoscope of noise would mean something to some random entity out there…
    I think that’s my favourite thing about the library: that the only reason it contains the sum of all knowledge is because of the patterns we ourselves created..

    It’s actually serious vibes of Roland Barthe’s ‘Death of the Author’, that all human creation is just a ’tissue of citations’ and that any meaning in a text is created in the reader, not the author who writes it…
