i mean, it’s strange to think that you could find just about anything in here.

Some things I can think of that you’d be able to find:

    *Pornographic Images
    *screenshots of other websites
*A picture of you sitting at your computer, browsing this very site at this very moment
    *the Mona Lisa
*A picture of the end of the world

And there are so many other possibilities. I wonder if anyone’s randomly found one of those yet?

The odds are unfortunately heavily stacked against us ever finding anything at random. I often wonder what number location the very first undoubtedly “proper” image is in if you were to start at image 1 and work your way through. I think it would be no less than a number with a few hundred thousand digits after it, making it out of scope to ever hope to stumble on by browsing from beginning!

I was thinking if it wouldn’t be possible to maybe create another program to find these images?

What’s kinda creepy is that those things are out there. I mean, I could theoretically take a picture of myself typing this right now, and it would come up. That’s because it isn’t really me, it’s just data forming a picture. There are pictures of someone who looks remarkably similar to me and you doing things we have never done out there. Weird thought, huh?
