Earlier on, I was doing some bookmark browsing and went to libraryofbabel.info/bookmark.cgi?love:15 and I clicked Anglishize. At the bottom of the page, one of the words found was “love,” but when I did ctrl+f to find the word “love” on the page, the only match that came up was the one from the anglishize algorithm. It said: “love” – result found 1/1. Basically, the word doesn’t appear on the page at all but Anglishize still “found” it. Thoughts?
It’s due to the word being broken across two lines, but also because the page text is contained within “pre” tags. I just ran a test and it’s mainly the tag that prevents browsers from being able to pick up whole words across multiple lines.
