    Made me wonder if all the information in the library exceeds the mere possible combinations of characters.

    You’re absolutely right that the library has lots more information then what the totality of it’s characters might represent. Alternating letters or punctuation could easily be seen as binary which could be converted to computer code and actual running programs, or simply represent letters outside the standard. Example: Emoji Example

    The . is a 1 and a space is a 0. That translates into 11110000100111111001001010101001 which is the poop emoji.
